We are so proud of the band....they are truly the Pride of WV! You sounded so good on TV and radio.......thanks for the late night music behind Tony C. on radio!! It must have been a hoot to be there! (only negative thing was that they were not on TV often enough and that was OK too because the sound was fantastic.
Have a safe trip home.

You all must to worn out for the return trip home. "Don't drive the bus." Thanks for representing WV. As commented - your music really came over the TV well during the game.

Any fan/parent at the game - let us know how they sounded and looked in the stadium - and what happen when the game ended.

Interesting how abc tv showed the bulldog mascot several times - but the Mountaineer was never on tv. The band got on tv a few more times toward the end of the game.

As I told a Freshman on Friday go down there and kick some SOuthern Butt. ANd you did. You sounded great and I know you all had a great time.

Did the Peach Bowl in the dark ages when the band was all male and Alanta was great.

Great job yesterday you sounded great! I know the guard looked awsome because they always do. I am a little up set that the bad was not on tv for pregame or halftime.

It figures that they would win a bowl after I graduate...haha.

Congrats to the Sugar Bowl Champs. We were hoping to see part of the pregame or half-time show but didn't get to see anything. The band sounded great. Thanks Chris for all your great reporting.

Chris, thank you so much for your hard work in bringing this blog to the fans left in Morgantown: it made it tolerable not being there in person!!!!

Bring on The Pride 2006!!!

We are SO proud of our PRIDE. You sounded super on tv... and it was great hearing you in the background of the Tony C. broadcast. I am dissapointed that our Mountaineer mascot was NOT shown on tv..sure got sick of seeing that old bulldog. Cant wait to see the rest of the band pics you will post Chris!! You have done a wonderful thing for all of us parents who couldnt make the trip. THANKS SO MUCH!!!!!

Way to go Mountaineers and no one comes close to what the PRIDE brings to the bowl games & football games, and this year in Atlanta was an example of that!!!!!!! You all looked good, sounded good, and most of all, I am proud to say you represent WVU extremely well. Of course I cried when I watched Pre-game and the half time show as I know it would be the last time for me to see my son MARCH as a regular member of the Pride!!!! But as I told him, YOU MADE ME PROUD and it was great to tell everyone that my son was just 1 of you all on that field. Glad you all arrived safely home and although my son won't be in the band next year, I will forever be a fan of the PRIDE OF WEST VIRGINIA!!!!!!!
